Baxter Lampe is located in the heart of Mark Twain National Forest, on Table Rock Lake, just South of Kimberling City, Missouri and near Branson. The Baxter Lampe area of Table Rock Lake is known as the 'quite' side of the lake yet about 1/2 way between Branson and Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

With a Corp of Engineers campground it is easy for those with tents or RV's to join with their friends who are within walking distance in one of the Table Rock Lake Resorts.

The Baxter Lampe area is also known as one of the great fishing locations on the Table Rock Lake with its rocky bluffs, shadow feeding areas and much less boat traffic than you will find on the lower part of the lake. For those fishing the tournaments from Kimberling City, the Baxter Lampe resorts or only 5 to 10 minutes, by water to Kimberling City.
